The interactive VR Experience >Gods Golf< is a different kind of golf simulation. Instead of aiming for a hole, the goal is to defeat giant crystal beings. At the core of this app stands Unity3D's physic engine. Everything is physically simulated, from the stroke of the ball to the animations of the enemies.

This project was built for my bachelor thesis. It has been released to the public and can be downloaded at the indie games platform itch.io or free.

These two music videos were developed for the new album 'Wenn wir alle anders sind' of the German indie pop artist Peter Licht. Whats special about those videos is the usage of Mixed Reality, which composits VR ingame footage with the recordings of a film camera in real time. Is the playing person filmed in front of a green screen, it is possible to watch them integrated in the VR app, thanks to the live compositing.

A positional tracker that is added to the film camera, ensures that the digital camera of the VR app is synchronized with the real world film camera. This allows for tracking shots. At the same time the VR footage is separated into foreground and background, which enables the real time compositing.

The AR installation >Bus Bubbles< lets us read the minds of passersby. Through face tracking it's possible to place speech bubbles next to their heads.

The content for the speech bubbles is generated from multiple Japanese Haiku poems and dialogue snippets from the stage play 'Der Reigen' by Arthur Schnitzler.

The project was shown in the university library in Weimar during the annual exhibition 'Summaery' of the Bauhaus-University.

>KI-808< lets the playing person produce their own beats, as a part of a interactive installation. With the help of motion tracking the game is played by using your hands and body. This combines music production, dance and perfomance.

The project was financially funded by the neudeli fellowship, the start-up workshop of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar und was shown in the public three times:

2016 and 2017 at the Genius Loci Festival in Weimar.

The short animation >Voyage< was produced as a part of the course of study 'bewegt.bild.rauschen' in the summer semester 2017. In cooperation with the course of study for experimental sound design 'Sonorama' these animations were created to the topic 'Trappist-1', a planetary system that is theoretically habitable for humans.

Besides 3D and 2D animation there is also a stop motion segment. The scenery for the stop motion part was made out of white paper that was lit up with textures by a projector.

In early 2016 the bronze sculpture 'Eva' by Auguste Rodin was vandalized. The sculpture has been standing in the entrance area of the main building of the Bauhaus-University since 1912.

The Project >Get Eva Laid< is a playful recreation of this event. A tennis racket allows the playing person to throw golden balls at Eva's 3D replica, to push her from her base. Attached to the tennis racket is a smartphone, which sends it's motion data to the Unity3D game engine via WiFi. The installation was presented at Eva's orginal spot during the annual exhibition 'Summaery' of the Bauhaus-University.

>Get Eva Laid< was designed as an contest application for the Genius Loci Festival 2016, which was rewarded with an exhibition space at the festival. After the successful application the work on the >KI-808< Prototype began, which was shown in the same year at the Genius Loci Festival.

In >Bounce and Rebound< two players have to cooperate and try to catch falling people with their picnic blanket. The game is controlled with the motion capturing platform of the Bauhaus-University, which operates with 12 connected cameras and is able to capture full body motion tracking in realtime. The players have to move in the real space, if they want to move ingame.

The game was designed in a way, that it's impossible to save everyone. The key is the communication between the players, because they are physically constrained by the picnic blanket, that is preventing them from splitting up.

>Bounce and Rebound< has been developed for the course of study 'Motion Capture for Live Performance' and is my first project made in Unity3D.
